Shipping policy

At Lynn Joseph Books/Black Mermaid Press, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), we strive to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully to understand how we handle shipping and delivery for your purchases.
1. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to the following locations:
United States, Canada, and select countries in Europe
2. Processing Time
Once your order is placed, it will typically be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days]. Processing time does not include weekends or holidays. You will receive a notification with a tracking number once your order has shipped.
Note: During busy seasons or special promotions, processing times may be slightly longer, but we will notify you of any delays.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
We offer the following shipping options:
Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
Express Shipping: 1-2 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier. Please note that we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, especially during peak seasons or due to external factors such as weather or carrier delays.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated based on the destination, weight, and size of the items in your order. The shipping cost will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase.
5. International Shipping
If you are located outside of the United States, international shipping is available to select regions. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that international shipments may take longer to process and arrive due to customs procedures or international shipping delays. We are not responsible for any customs delays, duties, or taxes that may apply.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can use the tracking number to check the status of your order through the carrier's website. If you have any questions or concerns about your order's delivery, feel free to contact our customer support team.
7. Shipping Restrictions
We do not currently ship to the following locations:
APO/FPO addresses, or remote locations
8. Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to claim, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Reshipping charges will apply. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
9. Lost or Damaged Items
In the rare event that your order is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately at lynn@lynnjosephbooks.com . We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, if applicable, provide you with a replacement or refund.
Note: We recommend checking the condition of the package upon arrival. If the packaging appears damaged, please document it with photos before opening, as this may be necessary for claims with the shipping carrier.

You are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address you provide is correct and complete. We cannot be held responsible for any delays, losses, or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete address information. Please double-check your shipping details during checkout to ensure accuracy.
